Well, we spent the entire weekend in Schaumburg learning all about parenting adopted children. It was slightly overwhelming to say the very least, but after a slight breakdown (by me!) we are feeling better and we know we want to continue on toward bringing Mazzi home!
We learned SO many things and have lots of great reading material if anyone is interested! Now, we are just continuing on with our paperwork. We have most everything pretty well completed and are waiting for our letter from Immigration Services indicating that we are approved. We are hoping this will come in the next couple of months. Our homestudy is still not fully complete and in our hands yet so not much can happen until then. We need to follow-up with our social worker and see how things are progressing.
