Word came today that Friday, May 4 is Olga and Mazzi's DNA test date. Olga will also be meeting with a social worker that day to discuss her decision and complete paperwork for the Guatemalan government. Please pray that we receive a positive match and pray for peace for Olga as it will be an extremely difficult day for her!
Hillary indicated today that pre-approval from the Embassy (which is our next step) has been taking 9+ weeks recently. It's been just 4-5 weeks in the past. Hillary is hopeful that things will speed up as we enter this process but it's just hard to tell. After pre-approval is PGN which gives final approval. It's still just a waiting game with no telling how quickly things will proceed.
No new pictures to post this week, it's disappointing, I know. Hillary is requesting a medical update from the attorney because I have an appointment to meet with a peditrician on Monday and would like any new information they might have. Not sure if we will receive anything before then.
